Cannot fault it! The Cotton Canvas from Cloth Cuts is soft, but sturdy with the perfect thickness for any project. The colours are beautiful and true to website images. It’s such a dream to sew with, it glides through both a sewing machine and overlocker.
The canvas doesn’t have to be heavily interfaced for bag making, it has good structure and a tight weave. And the colours hold up amazingly wash after wash. Cotton canvas does soften slightly after washes, so it can also make for a great option for sturdier clothing pieces, like overalls/coveralls, pants etc.
Our Cotton Canvas is 100% cotton. With a weave that creates a thicker and sturdier texture than our Cotton Twill or Poplin, it makes this fabric base a great choice for projects that require just a little more strength. It can also be referred to as Cotton Duck/Drill. Perfect for making things like cushion covers, aprons, sock covers and overalls. Or for the more daring; tote bags, wallets, backpacks and handbags.

Caring for your Canvas creations is a breeze. A cool machine wash does the trick, and then simply line dry it in the shade. If you need to iron it, a cool iron will have it looking crisp and fabulous. Easy care for a fabric that's used in so many aspects of life!
