My artist’s mission is to make people smile, because we need more joy in the world. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, a Master’s Certification in Project Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in English. In 2005, I became a film and television graphic designer. I designed art for the sets of major motion pictures and award-winning TV shows, and I was nominated for an Art Director's Guild award. In 2018, I fell in love with surface design, so I began designing patterns. After 16 years in film, I left the entertainment industry to become a full time illustrator, educator and surface designer, and I haven’t looked back. I’m so lucky to make a living creating the art I want to see in the world!I've licensed my art with Walmart; Alice + Ames; G&Silk; Volubilis Paris and Jacob Heath, just to name a few. I've been featured on NPR, in TED; UPPERCASE Magazine; Peppermint Magazine and Surface Design News.
