Tell us a bit about yourself
I am a mum of 2, (plus a fur baby), originally from the UK, but have been in Australia almost 18 years. I love all different creative crafts, from weaving to painting.
How long have you been creating your art?
I have always dabbled in different creative things and I went 'back to school' about 6 years ago to study a Certificate IV in Design, followed by a Diploma in Surface Design, and loved every moment of the creative processes.
Where do you draw inspiration from?
Anywhere! I love to take pictures of flowers and leaves when my family is out an about. I love the vibrant colours of flowers, so even the garden centre is a great source of inspiration.
What's the most exciting thing you've seen your art on?
I did a collaboration with Annabelle Trends and they had my designs on a wide range of products from umbrellas to makeup bags.
What is your favourite art style at the moment?
I like a mix of everything! But I have always love Art Deco.
When you're not creating, what do you get up to?
I have 2 young children so I am usually busy with them being a chauffeur, and when I have time to myself I can usually be found looking at art supplies, stationery or fabric.
