This bright and vibrant repeat pattern is based on an original painting that Tasmanian-based artist, Amy Compton created in 2023. The piece was inspired by a trip to Morocco where Amy was blown away by the shapes, patterns and colours of Northern Africa. The design is intended to evoke the intense atmosphere of Morocco with its warm colour palette of pinks and burnt orange. There are recognisable motifs of Morocco in the way of palm leaves, archways and patterns.
