Hi, I am Barbara Tipper. My design studio, Barbara Botanica Australis, is on coastal Boonwurrung Country on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia but I also like to travel and design in response to the nature I see. I design for home, heart and hand. My aesthetic is mature, elegant and nature-honouring. My designs feature my representational digital art mostly inspired by Australian native flora and birds. I prefer natural Australian palettes derived mainly from the earth pigments I have foraged respectfully on Country for use in my handmade gouache and watercolour paints. I also make linocut print illustrations.
