Hi this is Helen, a British surface pattern designer based in a small town near Oxford in the UK & the face behind “fidget & Fig Patternworks”. Originally I graduated in Fashion & Textiles way back when in the 1980’s & after having a family in my late 20’s decided on a change of career. Many twists & turns later I’ve found myself back in my happy place & now spend most of my time drawing & creating patterns. My style is bold & dynamic & many of my patterns are colourful & bursting with texture. When I’m not creating I love to spend time with my family in the outdoors close to nature but you’ll otherwise find me sat cozied up in front of a good TV drama with some crochet to do!
