I am a designer, mumma and aspiring yoga teacher who designs using a variety of mediums including digitally on the Ipad and traditionally using Indian ink and markers. I have 15+ years experience in the fashion industry, primarily in product design. My love for graphic design, print and pattern made me change direction within the industry and I am now a self taught Surface Pattern Designer. I spent the last 8 years as a textile designer for a large Australian retailer and then decided that after spending 14 years based in Sydney working for others, I wanted to do my own thing. Our kind of cool. was born in the middle of 2023 after moving back home to NZ to be closer to family and friends and to enjoy a slower paced lifestyle. I want to live a more meaningful life that is aligned with my values and I hope to inspire others to do the same.
