My name is Maryam Sam and I am a 37-year-old textile designer with almost 14 years of work experience in this field. Right after graduating from university, I started working in an apparel company as a textile designer for 7 years. I also began to work as a graphic designer 7 years ago, meanwhile, keep working as a freelance textile designer and I really enjoy it. Right now I make custom textile designs for small businesses worldwide. I use different design software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Corel Draw for making my designs but I mostly like to make hand-drawn patterns and my favorite techniques are watercolor, color pencil, and a mix of both.
