Towel Topper
Sew Along With Us
Since Sophie started walking, her favourite game in the kitchen is to pull our hand towel down, throw it on the ground and run away. So, to avoid the constant floor towel state I decided to do a quick google and find a hanging towel tutorial and then of course make it my own and share it with you all!
What you'll need to make your own:
- Kitchen Towel / Hand Towel
- Woven fabric
- Snap set or button

How to make it:
Print and cut out the pattern. Trace and cut it out of the woven fabric you've chosen. Be sure to cut out two.
With the right sides together, sew around the outside leaving the long bottom side open.
Trim any excess off and carefully cut the corners. But make sure you dont cut the stitching at all.
Flip the top to be the right way out. Taking your tea towel, kitchen towel, hand towel etc., gather it so that it fits nicely inside inside the top pocket.
Fold the raw edges of the top pocket back inside to create a hem. Sew in place
Now is the time to add your snap or button. fold the top back on itself to be the right loop for where ever you want to hang your towel.
And all there's left to do is display it! And wash and dry your hands of course ;)
